Originally written as an entry for the Spintunes song contest, round 1 "Introduce Yourself"

VERSE 1

Dropped on the wrong side of the tracks
Never realising what he didn’t have
He thought that every life was just like that
But, then again, why would he not?

VERSE 2

Strapped to the Earth but staring at the stars
Hope never died in his bursting heart
Scramble and scurry up the slopes of life
Two steps forward one step back

You will be beaten in the end
The wheel is weighted
The dice are stacked
To ensure you stay exactly where you’re at

We all know Dave
